I thought the game was an ok beat 'em up (and medals make any game better) but it was a repetitive experience. The enemies had somewhat different ways of attack as well as the bosses and each weapon had a different mega death attack but it still could've used a bit more variety. Perhaps five or six kinds of enemies instead of three per stage would've helped...
Overall it's a decent b.e.u. and I'll definitely keep playing to get most (if not all) of the medals.

"GrumpyPirate has a point but then again..."
I'd say that in most cases random stuff just thrown together doesn't work but then again that concept worked for Jackass. Parts of it were funny but I agree that even having an all violent/gross theme to each bit would've helped it be a little more coherent.
But for a quick project done at a sleepover it works...

A very good start: I actually thought that it might be the first entry in a series about a murder on the train until I saw it was about the death of a loved one. While it may not be that it is still well done and the b/w sketch style is really appropriate for the subject matter.
I hope to watch many more entries from you...good luck to you.
(Seriously though...making this a series about lost love and a murder mystery might be a good idea. Just a suggestion...it worked for 'Murder on the Orient Express')

"I like the new elements and Baslisx is insane..."
I know I shouldn't cheer for the bad guy but Basilisx is one of the best original enemies you've created in the series so far and he has some depth to him and his reason for fighting.
As for everything else it is again a masterpiece. The hand drawn parts were placed perfectly so as not to interrupt the rest of the action and just when I think you've created every possible fight move in existence you pick your brain for another dozen that I've never seen.
All in all this is, once again, one of the most original and best series on NG. Period.

When I first saw the two headed bat I immediatly thought of Zach and Weezy from DragonTales and like that show this flash is fun and very humorous...and very well done all around.
And I can understand the dragon's frustration at the end...especially if the little sprite is inserting Macarena moves in her constant dancing.
Author's Response:
Ah man, I love Zack and Weezy. I almost forgot about them.
Actually though, it's interesting you mention the Macarena. In the initial sketches she had rattles in her hands so that may have inspired the dance moves. Either that or there's the fact Thiago is from Brazil.

The comparisons to bounty hunter Samus Aran notwithstanding I like the beginning you've produced for this character and the world that she inhabits. I get the feeling that she's running from something and I can't wait to see what that is.
From one of your biggest fans thanks again for this dose of greatness...

"A little bit unpolished but an excellent start..."
I like the start of this. A Kano-looking villian (or anti-hero) and his partner make for interesting characters and you went the extra mile with voice work. Lacks some polish but again this is your first attampt.
This is what all first attempts should be like. Instead we get stick men, terrible sound, and entries with little substance but potty humor and x-rated material. Your entry is a welcome change of pace and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

"Avent-garde animation + Alice In Chains = Epic win"
I love animation that attempts to link itself to music and is open enough to allow for free interpretation. In this you succeed with flying colors. It may be from three years ago but its 100% fresh in my book.

"If only they had that in real life..."
And his first target with that new shiny cannon will be that landlubbin' blueblood's blowhole!

I loved this video because I'm a huge fan of Dragonforce and it captures what they're all about: speed rifs, speed chords, an occasional sweet song about some quest or something, and more speed solos.
Instead of him exploding, though, I'd more think his fingers would just start randomly falling off. That'd be my version. Awesome nonetheless.
