I thought the game was an ok beat 'em up (and medals make any game better) but it was a repetitive experience. The enemies had somewhat different ways of attack as well as the bosses and each weapon had a different mega death attack but it still could've used a bit more variety. Perhaps five or six kinds of enemies instead of three per stage would've helped...

Overall it's a decent b.e.u. and I'll definitely keep playing to get most (if not all) of the medals.

I'd say that in most cases random stuff just thrown together doesn't work but then again that concept worked for Jackass. Parts of it were funny but I agree that even having an all violent/gross theme to each bit would've helped it be a little more coherent.

But for a quick project done at a sleepover it works...

A very good start: I actually thought that it might be the first entry in a series about a murder on the train until I saw it was about the death of a loved one. While it may not be that it is still well done and the b/w sketch style is really appropriate for the subject matter.

I hope to watch many more entries from you...good luck to you.

(Seriously though...making this a series about lost love and a murder mystery might be a good idea. Just a suggestion...it worked for 'Murder on the Orient Express')

I don't get why people rate this track so badly...it has a 'video game boss battle' kind of feel. Maybe they feel that it is repetitive or something but it deserves a better score: like 3.8 to 4.0. I'm putting in a 5 to help...and the fact that no one has reviewed this three year old submission yet is incredible...

"First Music Review...And a good one to boot"

Thanks to Ladytron, Lords of Acid, and The Prodigy I'm now a big fan of House/Techno music. This is a really good example of that genre and how unique it can be. I liked how your voice acting complemented the background beats (difficult to do) and the variety shown in those beats (and how smoothly they transitioned from one to the other and back).

All in all a great effort and it makes me want to peruse the Music Portal a lot more.
